This quick and easy Garlic Shrimp Scampi is a restaurant-quality dish you can make at home in just 25 minutes. Juicy shrimp are sautéed in garlic and olive oil, then tossed in a lemon-butter sauce with a touch of white wine. - 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth (non-alcoholic wine works too)
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz linguine or your favorite pasta
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the Shrimp: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
- Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add white wine (or chicken broth) and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer, scraping up browned bits from the pan. Stir in butter until melted.
- Combine and Serve: Return shrimp to the skillet and toss in the sauce. Add the cooked pasta and toss everything together until well combined. Season with salt and pepper, garnish with parsley, and serve.

- For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of freshly grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
