- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup lobster meat, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the filet mignon steaks with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove and let them rest.
- In the same skillet, add butter and sauté shrimp until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Add garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, and thyme.
- Add lobster meat and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and coat with the lobster cream sauce.
- Spoon the shrimp and lobster cream sauce over the rested filet mignon steaks.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
